certainity of uncertainity
the sun has come out and feels good to go outside. Temperature outside, 49F. Weird for this time of the year. Was dreaming of snow last night. Do I really yearn for it? Visited the lab after two full days of sleeping and eating. Found that the old and experienced horses still running a few extra miles for Indian cricket.

in a state of peace
Started yesterday early in the morning to get a flight from Chicago. The six hour wait at the airport included some random conversations with people waiting for delayed flights, meeting former students of UofI, a frustrated couple trying to go to denver for the past 2-1/2 days. The lost baggage on landing and letting out their frustration and anger by other passengers, a rude costumer service at the AA counter. All this was gone. The moment P called me. It was a visit long due.
For the second time I have gone through the same circumstances. I got over them before and I know, will do so again. NO BIG DEAL. Reminds of this song "I get knocked down; but I get up again" by chumbawumba.
Adios and Happy holidays to you all :)

Story - Beginning, The Famous Goli Player
OK. Unlike newborn babies touching each other and then falling in love later in their lives. We will start with a little grown up ones who don't know about the word love other than when they say, "Amma, I love you soooo much".
The school bell rang at Goliramguda in the small town/city, Asmabad. Like many cities in their country it was named after queen Asma. Goliramguda got its name after the famous goli (marble game) player Ramu, who won the world championship in 19XX. It was called world championship because that year when the schoolmasterji was reading the daily newspaper he found that a particular country always calls its local players WC whevever they play "kusti" (the modern name is different for it, in the country it is played). The style of game it happens is not played anywhere else. Ever since, the locals took inspiration and call their champion, WC.

memories old and new
Ee gaali ee nela (this air, this land) - reminds me of my hometown and its beauty as I see it when I was a kid.
Prakruti kantaku yennenni kalalO - is another beauty describing the nature.
Merise taaraladeroopam - wonderfully put in to words about what matters most in ****.
All I wanted to say today is, " my dear, I hope, I was not your colour of the week". Some memories stay still and come right in front of you when you think .................................................
